Week 20 Training Update

Every week when I post these updates, I seriously cannot believe that another week has come and gone. No lie, it’s a lot, but in the best way. A huge win (?) for this week came in my noticing that although I am basically always tired and hangry, I feel like my body is beginning to adapt. Sleep isn’t as big of a deal to me right now. It’s nice to be awake when I’m awake – there was definitely a period that I felt like a zombie. I hope this continues! Also, I did complete my goal of a brick session from last week, and overall it went pretty well, although it made me realize that nutrition should be a focus moving forward. Here’s the plan for this week:

  • Monday :: REST / yoga
  • Tuesday :: Interval Swim :: 2400m
  • Wednesday :: Interval Bike :: 60 min w/ intervals + strength training
  • Thursday :: Tempo Run :: 50 min
  • Friday :: Aerobic Swim :: 1800m
  • Saturday :: Tempo Bike :: 75km
  • Sunday :: Aerobic Run :: 10km, 3xhill repeats
