We all have weeks that just feel busier. This is a week like that. I’ve found that during times that feel a bit crazier than my normal, if I put pen to paper and build a plan, I can just trust that point A will get me to point B.
Over prepare and then go with the flow.

So here we are at week 21(!!). This weekend, Spring wanted to peep its little head out, but I won’t jump the gun just yet. It’s still a mix of indoors (bike and swim) and outdoors (run) yet, but isn’t it awesome to get to sneak outside when you’re able??
Last week was successful in that I did focus on nutrition a bit more after bonking during the previous brick session. Everything is trial and error, but I’ll soon be posting some of the recipes that have worked for me through this journey.
This week brings back a couple time trials, and my main focus is still getting in good warm up and cool downs even though my distances may be shorter. I’ve been noticing a bit more fatigue and soreness than usual, so I want to be sure to pay attention to the little things a bit more.
Here’s what week 21 has in store:
- Monday :: REST / yoga
- Tuesday :: TT Swim :: 1900m
- Wednesday :: Interval Bike :: 75 min w/ intervals + strength training
- Thursday :: Interval Run :: 60 min
- Friday :: Aerobic Swim :: 6x400m
- Saturday :: TT Bike :: 50km
- Sunday :: Aerobic Run :: 18km, hills
Get fired up! What is your goal for the week?
